Wallingford Moorings are situated a short walk from the centre of Wallingford which is a lovely ancient market town. The shops are located within a few hundred metres and the town boasts a wide range of pubs and restaurants.
The moorings have wonderful views over the historic Castle Meadows and the moorings have bollards and risers. Wallingford Town Council manages the moorings on both sides of the river, upstream from Wallingford Bridge.
The moorings can be used free of charge from 9am until 7:30pm daily. A mooring fee is charged for overnight stays of £6 (per boat, per night for boats less than 5 metres) and £12 (per boat, per night for boats more than 5 metres) – payable in short term season which operates from 1st March to 31st October. Maximum of 5-night stay only. Fees collected by Moorings Officer daily or can be paid online.
Do visit the Town Information Centre which is located under the Town Hall in the Market Place where the friendly team will provide you with the very best in knowledge and history of the town and surrounding areas. They will help you make the most of your stay in the town and there are plenty of leaflets, guides and souvenirs available.
